The Flight

There are lots of options for direct [non-stop] flights into San José Del Cabo.  Los Cabos International [SJD] is a mid-sized airport based in San José Del Cabo, Mexico. You can fly from 40 destinations with 14 airlines on scheduled passenger airliners.

Touchdown

Once you land, plan on about an hour to de-plane, pass through immigration, collect baggage and then one last customs check. Leaving this area brings you through a hallway with lots of timeshare sales staff… just keep walking and saying “Hola, no gracias!”  From the hallway you will exit into the last section of the airport arrivals area and then turn right out the doors to the taxi and rental car shuttle area. Your best bet is to rent a car for your stay at Sal y Sol and we can provide a few great suggestions. Taking a taxi or shuttle is expensive and you will probably want transportation while staying in El Pescadero. 

The Drive

Your drive time from the airport to Sandy Feet Baja is approximately one hour. Leaving the airport, take the toll road north towards Highway 19 / Todos Santos. Have a few small bills in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars to pay the toll which is around $108 MXN  [equivalent to around $5 USD]. When entering your destination into your GPS, copy and paste the below coordinates into your map app - Google is recommended. Otherwise, try to find 'Modern Elder Academy' which is a landmark on our street, very close to Sandy Feet. 

You will follow Highway 19 for approximately 45 minutes until you drive straight into El Pescadero, just past Cerritos Beach. The left turn you wish to take is known here as 'Baja Beans Road' if you ask for directions. Just as you enter town, look for a number of signs including a large one on the left that says 'Áureo' and turn left onto the unpaved dirt road. The rest of the drive is not far, but, there are lots of turns & not a lot of signs...

The Last Two Miles

SET YOUR ODOMETER TO ZERO NOW & look for the following landmarks & turns:

.06 mi Crudo Restaurant sign on your left

.08 mi Coyote Restaurant on your left

1.0 mi Luz de Luna / Besos de Mezcal on your right

1.1 mi Pueblo Pescadero development on your left

1.1 mi straight ahead you'll see a red tile roof & gate to Tequila Ranch

BEAR LEFT

Follow the Tequila Ranch stone wall (it's on your right)

1.5 mi turn right at the rock painted "Rancho Tranquilo"

    and continue to follow stone wall on your right to the dead end

TURN LEFT thru the bushy lane

Follow the power lines

1.8 mi TURN RIGHT towards the ocean on "Seaview" (there's a street sign!)

1.9 mi TURN LEFT at "El Alma del Mar" (there's a street sign!)

2.0 mi TURN LEFT before Modern Elder Academy (no signs, large gardens/brick buildings)

2.1 mi TURN RIGHT at Modern Elder Academy & continue just a bit longer...

2.2 mi SANDY FEET BAJA is on your right!
